Betania is originally a Swedish-speaking Christian congregation that now also has a growing activity in Finnish and provides interpretation to English when needed. The Betania church, which gathers in Nickby, is part of the Finnish-Swedish Pentecostal network (FSP) and identifies as part of the Pentecostal/charismatic church family.
On September 12, 2021, they signed the documents that enabled membership in the community Helluntaikirkko – the Pentecostal Church in Finland. Membership in the Pentecostal Church in Finland was confirmed by the Patent and Registration Office on April 19, 2022.
